Breaded plaice with potato-celery mash and fresh cucumber salad



For 1-2 servings

  • Femeg plaice fillets classically breaded
  • ca 400g potatoes
  • 1 tuber of celery
  • some warm milk
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

For the cucumber salad ( makes about 4-5 servings):

  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 apples
  • 1 small can of pineapple
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • dill, salt and pepper


For the salad, cut all ingredients into small cubes and then mix with the sour cream and mayonnaise. Season the salad strongly with salt, pepper and dill. {br}}{br}} Cook the plaice fillets according to package instructions in the oven or in a pan, depending on your preference.
{br}} For the potato mash, peel the potatoes and celery and boil in salted water for about 30 minutes. Then drain the water and let the vegetables steam out. The vegetables can now be mashed with a potato masher. Always add a little butter and the warm milk, this will make the potato mash creamier. Finally, the potato - celery mash can be seasoned with salt, pepper and nutmeg. {br}}{br}} Bon appétit.
